I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a wheel. I was initially going to purchase a Hori wheel.
Then I noticed that the price of the Logitech G920 has dropped $50 with a few popping up on amazon/ebay for $300. I’ve read that most stuff drops after CES. I was wondering if its worth the extra money? Or worth it to wait a bit?
Thanks

For what it’s worth, I still have an original G25 that I bought in 2004. It still works beautifully and I have no plans of replacing it anytime soon.
So unless Logitech’s quality control has gone down (which I kind of doubt), if you do go with the G920 you’ll likely have it for a very long time.

thanks for the input. Have you run into issues with the older wheel. I read a few have had issues with lag and calibrating.

It doesn’t, but the mechanical bits (steering/force feedback gearing and motors) are straight out of the G27. The buttons/other interfacing bits are different, and are different still from the G29, which is the Playstation 3/4/PC compatable version, and is just a G920 with a share button and the extra on-the-fly tuning controls from the Driving Force GT thrown on.

Actually now that you mention it I have recently had a few issues with it being centered. I’ve found that replugging the USB fixes it. Although I should clarify that I only use it with PC, not the Xbox.
